| Welcome to the Cape Cornwall
Coast Watch Station web site. We hope that you find this site
interesting and informative.
We are a part of the National Coastwatch Institute and hold Declared Facility status with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA). Manned exclusively by volunteers and dependent upon public subscription our role is to watch over the sea and foreshore keeping an eye on the well being of all who are on or by the sea. We keep a VHF radio watch and use Radar, AIS and most importantly our eyes to spot incidents and are able to raise the alarm should any one require assistance.
|
![]() The watch station is located 39 meters above sea level and on a clear day offers views North to Pendeen, South to Lands End and into Sennen Cove and West as far as the Scilly Isles .

| There is a visitors centre at

hours of operation. Visitors are always welcome. Our hours
of operation are; 08:00 to 16:00 Hrs 365 days a year 16:00 to Dusk where possible during BST |
